Assessment Course

Cambridge University Medical Education Group (CUMEG) offers a one-day course to prepare healthcare professionals to deliver effective assessment to learners Cambridge University Medical Education Group (CUMEG) offers a one-day course to prepare healthcare professionals to deliver effective assessment to learners including medical students and postgraduate trainees. The fully interactive whole day course, led by experts in assessment, will enable participants to:

  • Understand the rationale behind assessment
  • Review various types of written and skills-based assessments in common practice
  • Consider the practical aspects of designing and undertaking assessment
  • Appreciate how quality assurance and standard setting processes apply to assessments
  • Practise designing, writing and standard-setting exam questions

This course will provide 6 hours of non-clinical CPD.
